New Feature: Request Documents From Your Customers
We’re happy to announce the launch of a new feature for our Pro and Enterprise customers: Document requests.
Now you can ask your customers to provide necessary documents with their bookings, such as proof of insurance or COVID-19 contract tracing forms.
This feature is part of our new and improved venue administrator experience, due to launch soon. In order to make COVID-19 contract tracing easier, we’re releasing a slimmed-down version of this early. Until the new user experience goes live for venue administrators, please just email us with the details of any documents you want to request from your customers, and we’ll set it up for you.
Here’s how it works: Under Settings - Documents, you
can will be able to add, edit, deactivate and delete “Document Requests”:
Each of those requests can be configured to
- apply to all facilities, or just some of them
- be mandatory or optional
- provide an optional template (i.e. a form) to download
During the booking process, on the checkout screen, your customers will then be prompted for those documents.
You as the venue administrator can see any attached files next to the booking:
The following types of files are accepted for upload:
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Adobe PDF
- JPG and PNG images
- Text files (such as CSV)
Appropriately enough for these strange times, all files are scanned for viruses on upload and quarantined if necessary. The last thing you need is to worry about your booking system infecting yours or your customers’ computers! 😉
